Ethics & Compliance Hubs

Ethics & Compliance Hubs is a series of events initiated in 2016 by the Centre for Advanced Research in Management and Applied Ethics to help the Romanian business and professional community discuss, debate, and test new ideas, theories, and practices and raise awareness concerning topics related to Ethics & Compliance or other relevant fields. Each series of events has a different partner and takes place in a different locations across the country.

The last two editions were organized in partnership with Musat & Associates, one of the top-five Romanian law firms, and with the support of the European Ethics & Compliance Association and Legal Magazin. For the 5th edition, the organizer is European Ethics & Compliance Association, with the support of Musat & Associates and Centre for Advanced Research in Management and Applied Ethics.

The initial events come as a continuation of a initiative of Mr. Cristian Ducu that dates back to 2006, when he started promoting Ethics & Compliance as a new field of research and professional practice in Romania. His intention was to help building a professional community that can support a not just the advancement of the field itself, but also the local and European regulatory initiatives.

From Summer 2022, the EChubs meetings will be included in the certification program of the European Ethics & Compliance Association. Consequently, the participants will have the possibility to obtain 1 CPE credit if they actively engage in the EChubs activities.
